There’s plenty to do in Newport, Rhode Island, and people travel here from all over the world.  We welcome them all with our New England hospitality, and we do our best to show them the Newport they long to see.

When coming to Newport, lodging options are many, but the benefits of staying in a Bed & Breakfast certainly make this option attractive.  Not only do you have access to a perfectly appointed room and bath, but you have access to a built-in tour guide.

Innkeeper Chris Anderson is a wealth of information on the things to do and see in historic Newport and the surrounding area.  She’s happy to provide you with an insider’s guide to the attractions available in our little seaside village.

The Touro Park Inn itself sits just across from the Old Stone Mill, which has an uncertain history that lends itself to interesting tales.  No one knows for sure whether the Old Stone Mill was built by Colonial Ancestors of Benedict Arnold or by Vikings before Columbus ever discovered America.  The history of the mill adds charm to your stay at the Touro Park Inn.

From your vantage point at our historic Newport Bed & Breakfast, you can walk to Bellevue Avenue and see the famous mansions that line the boulevard.

If tennis is your game, you won’t want to miss the International Tennis Hall of Fame, where the greats of the game are immortalized forever.  Private courts and clubs are available in Newport, so if you brought your raquet and want to play a set, let us help you find a court.

Newport’s waterfront is a delight for the shopper who wants to see a wide variety of art, crafts, and designer goods.  It also is within walking distance of our Bed & Breakfast.

One of the advantages to staying with us is our central location, which allows you to park your car off the street and enjoy Newport on foot.  It’s a very walkable city, so bring your comfortable shoes and be prepared for a day of quiet, yet memorable adventure.

When night time falls, there’s no better place to enjoy Newport’s charm than from the front porch of the Touro Park Inn.  Enjoy a cool drink or a nice coffee and peruse our collection of menus from the many fine dining establishments available in the city.

You can’t go wrong with a trip to Newport, and we want your stay here to be the best it can be.  Join us at the Touro Park Inn for a memorable stay in a historic setting, with all the charm and comfort of the Gilded Age.
